ScanLive Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026
ScanLive is a live scanner-audio and pager-message monitoring service. This page explains what
information the ScanLive app and website collect and how it's used.
What we collect
- Account credentials — your username and a securely hashed password, used to sign you in.
- Session data — a login session token stored in a cookie so you stay signed in.
- Push notification token — if you enable notifications in the app, your device registers
a token with our server so we can send you alerts for new pager messages and calls. You can disable this
at any time by turning off notifications for the app in your device settings.
- Basic access logs — IP address and login timestamps, kept for security purposes
(e.g. blocking repeated failed login attempts).
What we don't do
- We don't sell or share your data with third parties.
- We don't run advertising or analytics trackers.
- We don't access your device's microphone, camera, contacts, or location.
Scanner audio and pager content
Audio recordings and pager messages shown in the app come from radio scanner hardware operated by the
service administrator — this is public safety radio traffic, not personal data collected from app users.
Data retention
Account and session data is kept for as long as your account is active. Push notification tokens are
removed automatically if they become invalid (e.g. the app is uninstalled).

Questions about this policy or your data can be directed to the server administrator through the
